Am I required to attend regional/national meetings?

Meeting attendance is not mandatory at either the local or national level, but you might be missing out on one of the most valuable benefits of membership: peer networking! We know your time is valuable and this is why we diligently strive to insure that our meetings and national events are educational, profitable, thought provoking and entertaining. Most importantly we provide you with ample opportunity to discuss your business challenges and successes with your fellow retailers and industry experts.

  1. Since our inception in 1969, AVB / BrandSource has been a member-owned, not for profit organization. This means 100% of volume rebates are returned to the members. Many other groups are “for-profit” corporations that retain a portion of funds for their owner’s equity, expansion, debt service, and management salaries. Will all supplier brands be available to me if I join?

While we cannot guarantee you will be able to carry a specific brand, we maintain very strong relationship with all our suppliers; individual distribution is normally handled on a case-by-case basis.

What is the process for joining?

Easy! Just click on the JOIN link, provide your contact information and a BrandSource regional manager will contact you. They will personally review membership costs, and all the membership benefits and programs in detail to make sure you thoroughly understand all the exceptional opportunities available to your business, and answer any questions you might have.
